BURNLEY VS SHEFFIELD UNITED PRE GAME ANALYSIS

Burnley face a trip to Sheffield United on Saturday in what is expected to be a tough League game for the Clarets. Burnley have not had the best of form losing their last two league visits to Leicester and Chelsea.


They are likely to face a difficult trip with Sheffield United looking formidable at home. Despite this being the club’s first season back to the top flight they have been able to start the season with good form.

Sheffield United are not the best in front of goal but have been able to keep it tight at the back. They currently have the joint best defensive record alongside Leicester and Liverpool.

Aaron Lennon to stay at Burnley

Former Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon will be staying with Premier League side Burnley next season. The player was a regular starter for the Burnley team in the first half of the season before becoming injured.

Since then Aaron Lennon has been struggling with injuries and has failed to make a sustained run in the team. However, Burnley feels that the player is an important member of the team when he is fit and that they will want to keep the player with them next season.

Aaron Lennon injured again

Burnley winger Aaron Lennon has undergone surgery on a knee and will be out of the team for quite some time. This has been revealed by the winger manager Sean Dyche who said that the player will be missing out some important game of the season.

This will be a disappointment for Aaron Lennon as he was having a great season with Burnley. Indeed he has played in most of their Premier League games this season and has been quite successful since arriving from Everton.

Burnley winger Aaron Lennon insists that it was the right move for him to exit Everton in the January transfer window. The formerly troubled player opted to leave Goodison Park after spending three seasons there. He decided to join Sean Dyche’s team few months before his contract with his former employers ran out.

The former England international had dropped down the pecking order. The arrival of Theo Walcott and his instant impact put nail to coffin on his chances.
