LENNON: SPURS JUST HAVE TO KEEP KANE

One of the things that is set to be certain in this coming transfer window is the fact that there will continue to be rumors surrounding the future of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane. The forward has already started attracting interest from top clubs in the English Premier League and those rumors will continue to make the rounds until he finally leaves the Tottenham Hotspur stadium

Kane dropped a bombshell a few weeks ago when he came out in public to reveal that he would love to move to another club where he would have bigger chances to win trophies in his career before he stops playing football and that singular act of his has not only made the paper headlines for the good reasons, it has also done that for the bad reasons as well.

While many believe that it is right of him to finally seek a big step forward in his career, others believe that he should have been more discreet about it and that he should not have made it public just yet. Ever since the England international striker made the public statement, Tottenham owner Daniel Levy has come under increased pressure to sell the club’s most important player and one of the league’s most lethal goalscorers, and a value has been placed on his head as well.

It is believed that a fee in the region of £150 million will be enough for Levy to part ways with the 27-year-old, but the club’s former player, Aaron Lennon, believes that Kane should not be sold. The former winger said in a recent interview that Kane is Tottenham’s best shot of winning titles and replacing him will be a very hard thing to do as well.

Lennon says he knows a fee above £100 million is a tempting one but should not tempt them enough to let their star man leave.
